After School
NYCID at P.S.21, located in Port Richmond, offers a robust after school program year-round from September to June Monday-Friday from 1:50-4:50, 3 hours daily. Our after school program provides care and support to grades k-5 in a rich atmosphere that promotes opportunities for academic growth and recreation, arts and crafts, college and career readiness, and social and emotional learning. We expand on every child’s capabilities and empower them to strive to be their best.
Our afterschool program is staffed with our exceptional P.S.21 teachers, paraprofessionals and other specialists who cater to the social, emotional and academic grother of our students. Our staff members work hard to ensure our students are having fun through hands-on activities as they are provided with opportunities to create and explore. We provide homework assistance, virtual field trips, in house field trips, sports, mindfulness, exciting stem-based activities along with hands-on project-based activities aligned with educational standards. Being a member of the NYCID after school program can lead to endless opportunities, and we look forward to supporting you in your academic endeavors.
